Normal Mapping
 
Created a procedural perlin noise texture saved it as .ppm and then mapped it

Applied mapping to the ground plane with one point light pointing at the centre.



(Built a rectangle object and applied planar mapping to that)

Digital Compositing - Project 3

This is the final with caustics rotoscoped as the object moves around the sphere.

Composited all the shadow passes, reflection and refraction passes in Nuke.
This is just a test render of the sculpture in a motion path with shadows, reflection and refraction!



Rendered out refraction and reflection for the sculpture using a thick glass mia_material! 



Figured out the base plane and put a sphere on the plane.



This is my initial reference image.

Used .ply files and a parser for the models.



Rendered Cube and Cuboid using triangle casting




A complete Tetrahedron



Rendered this with three triangles to form a open tetrahedron without the fourth face of the tetrahedron.


Got the first Triangle with vertices V0 (0,0,0) V1 (300,300,0) V2(-300,300,0).
